People are judging you anyways, so give them something to judge you for.

I Wonder, I wonder.

What are your fears?

What are you afraid of?

What are you scared of?

Because we all have fears, don’t we?

We all have something that’s blocking us, that’s holding us back, that’s imprisoning us, that’s keeping us from breaking out, that’s keeping us from living our true potential.

The reason why most people are not living their true potential or doing the things they really like to do – is because of fear!

Some people call fear false evidence appearing real.

So, as you look at your life, I want to ask you:

How much time do you spend working on you, working on your passion, working on your dream?

In the last 60 days, how many books have you read?

In the last 6 months, what new skills and knowledge have you acquired?

In the last 1 year, what kind of investment have you made in you?

What kind of thoughts are you feeding your consciousness?

I remember coming back from my friend’s funeral, I went for a walk, thinking about my friend who passed away. My friend who’s life was so promising, young, driven, ambitious; and I was thinking about all the things that he wanted to do and accomplish and he never got a chance to. So, I was reflecting on my own life and how much time I have left, to do the things that I would like to do. At that time, I wasn’t sure what my life purpose was, what my quest was, what I am here to do. My uncertainty caused me to put quite a lot of thought into this. I had some ideas but I wasn’t convinced and I didn’t feel worthy. I didn’t believe that I’d be capable of doing the kind of work that I am doing right now, and here is what I know about the thing that keeps people from living their dreams; It is fear!

Fear, limited vision, and lack of self-esteem are what constrain most people to do the things that they don’t want to do.

The same reason that people get stuck at a certain level in life and they think that this is it for them and that this is all they deserve.

Ohh no, no, no!

See, fear is the most destructive of all human diseases. It kills hopes and dreams, it puts people in hospital beds, it ages you, it paralyzes you.

I ask you,

What is the benefit?

What’s the benefit of holding on to fear?

What’s the benefit of not stepping out on life and taking life on?

What’s the benefit for you?

It’s some of the things I had to ask myself and some of the things that held me back was because I didn’t want to make any mistakes. Because I wanted everything to be perfect the first time, I did something. Because I wanted everybody to like me.

I was concerned with what people would think, what they would say about me, and how I will be viewed. Well let me tell you this:

You will make mistakes, I know I did.

You will fall, I know I did.

You will create a disturbance to the status quo the moment you pursue your dreams, I know I did.

You will have people judge you – and this is what scares people the most. I know it was terrifying for me just to think about it. And here is what I want for you to know:

People are going to judge you anyways.

So, give them something to judge you for.

Let me say that again:

People are judging you anyways.

So, give them something to judge you for.

Now the good news is, that fear is a state of mind. Fear is not a physical object – like a watch.

Fear is a process, an activity. And it can be changed.
